Mary is founder and executive director of the Global Peace Foundation. 1998 she began working with HH Dalai Lama's Dept of Religion and Culture to assist Tibetan refugees throughout the Himalayan region. Establishing the Compassionate 2000 Sponsorship Program for 100 refugee monks and nuns. Jampa Project with the Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy, India, assisting refugees fleeing torture in Chinese prisons in Tibet. Peace Seed Gardens Project. Emergency Fund Refugee Medical Aid Project. With the assistance of many devoted sponsors and volunteers we established long term projects throughout the Himalayan region including Bhutan with the assistance and guidance of Mr Nim Dorje.
Under the guidance of Lakota Elder Delores White Hat, she directed projects to assist Elders on Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota.
